Conversational English (call for customization) |
This course teaches students to understand the average native-English speaker and to communicate in English more effectively. Students will learn to form correct sentences, applying the elements of grammar, sentence structure, and tense, in the style commonly used by native speakers. It is also designed to quickly endow students with a degree of confidence in their own communication skills, allowing them to more readily participate in training exercises. More importantly, students are taught to “Think in English” (i.e. Receive, Process, and Respond without the need for mental translation into the listener’s native language).
Our goal is to get students to react instinctively, rather than according to memorized rules or scripted formulas. For additional effectiveness, a strict “English only” policy will be enforced at all times during the training period. |
